The fight for the NPS leadership seems promising if one expects smear campaigns. Former ministers Gregory Rusland and Ivan Fernald face each other for a hard battle. Although Fernald is the hot favorite, nominated by the incumbent board under Ronald Venetiaan, Rusland has gathered enough support from several party structures and sub branches across the country to have a shot at the position.
